Huang Xiaoju, deputy director of the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, said that since its inception in 1984, the National Acrobatic Show has been held for 11 consecutive sessions, launching a large number of outstanding works and talents, and playing an important role in improving the level of acrobatic creation and performance in our country. A total of 109 works were submitted nationwide for this year's acrobatic show, and in the end, a total of 36 acrobatic programs and 8 acrobatic dramas were selected to participate. During the show, a series of activities such as special performances by "Leading Magic Talents in the New Era", themed seminars, one play one review (one review per performance), and grassroots performances will also be held.
Huang Xiaoju said that one of the highlights of this acrobatic show is the inclusion of a special performance by "leading magic talents in the new era". These leading talents all come from the "National Magic Leading Talent Training Program" organized and implemented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This program selects senior magicians from across the country and trains them for two years through a combination of intensive training and creative practice. After comprehensive evaluation and testing of creative results, 10 outstanding students are selected and awarded the "New Era" "Leading Magic Talent" title.
In addition, during this acrobatic show, two themed seminars will be organized, inviting well-known acrobatic experts, scholars, artists and acrobatic troupe leaders to conduct in-depth discussions around acrobatic drama creation and acrobatic art innovation, and summarize recent years. The successful experience of creating new excellent acrobatic works provides new ideas for the future development and exploration of acrobatic art, and continues to promote the construction of acrobatic art theoretical review system. At the same time, we will continue to carry out "one play, one review" and "one performance, one review", and organize experts and artists to hold discussions with the directors and creative staff of the creative and performance units to analyze the gains and losses of the participating works and help them improve the artistic quality of the participating works.
It is understood that the 8 plays and 4 outstanding programs participating in this exhibition will be performed 25 times in 4 theaters of Liaoning Shengjing Grand Theatre, Chinese Theater, Liaoning Grand Theater and Liaoyang Grand Theater in 15 days.
Lu Xichao, deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, said that this acrobatic performance will highlight the integration of culture, sports and tourism and expand the influence of the event. During the performance, all cast and crew members participating in the performance can visit Shenyang Palace Museum, Zhang Xueliang’s former residence and other scenic spots for free with their actor certificates. At the same time, in order to allow more audiences who love acrobatic art to enter the scenic spot and theater, a "buy one, get one free" activity will be launched from time to time. Some audiences who purchase acrobatic performance tickets will enjoy the discount of free scenic spot tickets.
