In the director's special, Leung Chi-keung revealed that "Kids Are Not Stupid 3" is a new independent film. The film revolves around two families of primary school students. It tells the story of a series of battles of wits and courage between Zi Hao, a primary school student who transferred from Shanghai to Singapore, and Jayden, a local top student, and his family, in order to enter a prestigious school. Hu Jing plays Zihao's mother Wen Ting, who quits her job in Shanghai and comes to Singapore to study with Zihao, and uses all kinds of tricks to improve Zihao's grades. On the other side, Jayden's mother Sophia (played by Yoo Seung-mi) is also not to be outdone. The contest between the two mothers is full of drama and laughter.
