The plenary session reviewed and approved the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection’s review report on Gao Yu’s serious violations of discipline and law, confirming the previous sanction of the Municipal Party Committee’s Standing Committee’s decision to expel Gao Yu from the party.

Public information shows that Gao Yu, female, Han nationality, was born in January 1985 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, with a postgraduate degree and a master's degree in management. She joined the party in June 2006 and started working in July 2006.
She has worked in Baotou City for a long time, and has served as deputy director of the Office of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision of Baotou City, deputy district chief of Kundulun District, and other positions.
In June 2021, she served as the acting county magistrate of Guyang County and was elected as the county magistrate in January 2022.
