Disney has recently adjusted the schedules of many of its movies including Marvel, Pixar, Disney Animation, and Disney Headquarters, axing a Marvel movie in 2026 and a Disney movie on March 7 next year. Composite CEO Bob Eagle said earlier that the next step is to focus on quality rather than quantity.
The adjustment did not mention " Blade Runner ", which was originally scheduled for November 7, 2025. The director of the film has not yet been determined. Disney will hold the D23 exhibition on August 9, and it is expected that further information will be disclosed.
