Not long ago, the Changning District Primary and Secondary School Film Festival kicked off at the Changning District Children's Palace. As one of the film festival's series of activities, the Changning District Children's Palace's "Red Radio Waves, My Heart Stirs" summer study activity was officially launched in the hot summer. Taking the "red radio wave" during the Revolutionary War as a clue, students are led to travel through time and space, deeply experience those war-torn years, and feel the firm faith and lofty beliefs of the Communists.
The famous dance drama "The Eternal Wave" was put on the big screen as the opening film during the Shanghai International Film Festival. With admiration, students from Changning came to the Hongqiao Art Center and carefully watched this touching story of the revolutionary martyrs' heroic struggle for the cause of national liberation. "The moving dance of the actors seemed to take me through time and space, making me feel the weight of history and the greatness of the martyrs." the students sighed. The firm belief, selfless dedication and tenacious will shown by the ancestors deeply touched and shocked the hearts of Changning students.
Red radio waves travel through time and space to recreate history for students. What is the technical mystery behind radio waves? At the Shanghai Radio Museum, students not only saw a variety of old-fashioned radio equipment and precious historical materials, but also experienced the production process of a telegraph transceiver. Through hands-on operation and practice, the students gained a deeper understanding of radio technology and more deeply felt the hardships and wisdom of their revolutionary ancestors in using radio to fight. On the last day of study, the students created four-frame paintings with the theme of red radio waves to express their understanding and perception of the spirit of red radio waves. Some students were inspired by the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs, while others focused on the emotional ties behind the radio waves. Each stroke and line embodies their admiration for history.
A red radio summer film study trip connects two generations at both ends of history. "I will transform my admiration for the revolutionary martyrs into my responsibilities as a young person in the new era, study hard and work hard," said the student. It is understood that the film and television education project is an important part of the "three-kilometer community off-campus education activity circle" in the comprehensive education reform project of Changning District. In recent years, Changning District Children's Palace has carried out a variety of film and television education activities for primary and secondary schools, allowing Changning students to enter the palace of excellent films, expand the world of learning and practice, and gain growth in the light and shadow.
