With the arrival of midsummer, the Zhuguan Temple area of Tafeng Town, Lanshan County, Yongzhou City has welcomed a new group of "residents". On July 3, I came to the Zhuguan Temple area. In this lush green hilly area, I accidentally captured three rare birds, adding new species to my "Blue Mountain Birds Picture" ——Strong-footed Tree Warbler, Gray-breasted Bamboo Pheasant and Spot-rumped Swallow.
Strong-footed Tree Warbler: The stunning appearance of a mysterious bird
In the coniferous forests and shrubs of Lanshan County, a Strong-footed Tree Warbler with a body length of only 11-12.5 centimeters jumped into the camera. Its dark brown body and The eyebrow lines with yellow skin are in sharp contrast, and the lower body is white and dyed brown, making it particularly eye-catching. This mysterious bird can only be heard but not seen. I have wanted to take a photo of it for many years but have not been able to do so. Today, my wish came true.
Gray-breasted Bamboo Chicken: "Mountain Fungus" in the Bamboo Forest
Among the mountains, shrubs and bamboo forests of Lanshan County, the Gray-breasted Bamboo Chicken attracts the attention of photographers with its unique call and gorgeous feathers. This kind of bird, commonly known as "Mountain Fungus", mainly inhabits bamboo forests and shrubs. They are lively and active, often shuttling in the shrubs, and bring many surprises to photographers. I once photographed the Gray-breasted Bamboo Pheasant at the source of the Xiangjiang River, but was unable to do so due to poor equipment.
Spot-rumped Swallows: Elegant dancers in the summer blue sky
When I came to the entrance of Huangshiba Village, a group of Spot-rumped Swallows were leisurely basking in the sun on the wires. Their elegant posture and black and white feathers shine in the sun, like a group of dancers dancing in the air. This bird, which is distributed in Indochina, the Philippines and other places, has found its home in the hilly areas of Lanshan County, adding new vitality and vitality to this land.
"Blue Mountain Birds Map": Recording the beauty and miracle of nature
My "Blue Mountain Birds Map" has included 121 species of birds, many of which are rare and endangered species. The beautiful moments of these birds were captured through the lens, and their living habits and habitat environment were recorded. My efforts not only help us understand these birds better, but also make us cherish and care for the natural environment more.
Today, the "Blue Mountain Birds Map" has added new feathers. The addition of strong-footed tree warbler, gray-breasted bamboo pheasant and spotted-rumped swallow makes this map more colorful. Let us look forward to discovering more rare birds and recording more natural beauty and miracles in the future. At the same time, let us work together to protect these beautiful creatures and the homes they rely on for survival.
