In April 10 years ago, I interviewed Academician Xue Qikun. I remember it was on the fourth floor of the Science Building of Tsinghua University. At that time, the media was particularly excited about the news that Xue Qikun and his team had discovered the quantum anomalous Hall effect in experiments. Among them, the evaluation of Nobel Prize winner Mr. Yang Zhenning aroused strong reactions. I asked him how to relieve the boredom of experiments? He said that it was actually very pleasant to be in the laboratory and doing experiments was a very pleasant thing. We constantly encounter new problems and try new problems. It is exploring the unknown, which is very challenging and innovative. Doing experiments is not a simple repetition.
