Fans are hoping that Deadpool 3 will be the movie that "saves" the MCU, but it will take more than one movie to get the Marvel Cinematic Universe back on track.
Surprisingly, Deadpool 3 will be the only Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie to hit theaters this year, after more than a decade of multiple releases every year. Despite this, the film has left many viewers looking forward to the return of Ryan Reynolds's hot-tongued mercenary and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.
As we all know, the current MCU is no longer the giant series it once was, because the studio has not released an "Avengers" movie for a long time.
After a series of disappointing movies, the MCU seems to be getting worse each year, such as "Captain Marvel 2", "Ant-Man: Quantum of Madness", "Thor: Love and Thunder" and " Eternals ".
However, some, including filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, believe that Deadpool 3 will be the movie that gets the iconic cinematic universe back on track and brings more to the multiverse saga. But timing-wise, Legends of the Multiverse has long since lacked excitement compared to the last film. So given the recent developments in the mcu, it's going to take a lot more than Deadpool 3 to put the series back on track.
Deadpool and Wolverine don't belong mcu

The multiverse is no longer compelling enough

Deadpool may not become the defining face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe because his character traits alone don't have that potential, but he may be the studio's most important character right now. Nonetheless, the success of "Deadpool 3" cannot single-handedly push the Marvel Cinematic Universe back to its peak.
Chances are nothing will bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe back to the glory days of Phase 3's prime. However, "Deadpool 3" can once again get the Marvel Cinematic Universe moving, but for this series to be truly successful, subsequent projects must also meet the quality that audiences expect.
