Shanghai International Dance Center Theater Youth Incubation Platform (referred to as "Youth Incubation Platform") has started recruiting! This platform is open to domestic young dance choreographers and collects a wide range of original dance art works. The works are not limited to styles or current creative stages, aiming to promote dance with Chinese cultural characteristics to the world.
As a platform for incubating the works of domestic young directors, the "Green Incubation Platform" provides a variety of support methods for young directors. Including funds to start and improve the project, polishing the rehearsal and performance venues of the work, as well as professional recommendations from dramaturgical, lighting, stage design, music and other personnel, whether it is a work in the conception stage, a work that has begun to take shape, or a work that has just begun to take shape. For works that have matured and are seeking performance opportunities, the National Dance Theater will provide young artists with a broad space for development with a full range of "private customization" services.
In the past three years, the National Dance Theater has supported the creations of many young artists such as Xie Xin, Song Xinxin, Tian Tian, etc., and has successfully incubated many excellent works such as "Entropy", "Yoyou Vision", "Terra III", "Migration" and many other works. The performance was performed on the stage of the National Dance Theater and received numerous rave reviews.
In addition to financial and venue support, the National Dance Theater will also invite experts and scholars from the Dance School of Shanghai Theater Academy as well as industry seniors at home and abroad to provide professional guidance to young artists.
In addition, in order to better promote young artists to the public, the National Dance Theater also launched a "Public Space Alliance Plan" this year to link public spaces across Shanghai and establish a public space relationship network. The program currently has many institutions across the country joining the program, including the Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Institute, Sinan Mansion, System Systems, Chengdu Luhu Eco-City, and Hangzhou Tianmuli. Young artists will have the opportunity to present their works in these public spaces through the "Youth Incubation Platform".
