On the morning of the 6th, Meinian Health joined hands with Muguang Sunshine Assisted Employment Center for Disabled Persons, and volunteers held hands with autistic youths to start a warm and interesting mountain tour in Qingdao Fushan Forest Park.
In this event, volunteers from Meinian Health Organization’s marketing team and autistic youths who were enjoying the sunshine walked into Fushan Park one-on-one. They held hands and walked in the green mountains and waters, creating a beautiful scenery.
During the visit to the park, the specially invited expansion training teacher launched interesting competitive games. The volunteers and the integrated group of autistic youth played games such as team drums, forest that does not fall, and energy transfer. For autistic youths with uncoordinated limbs, these games are quite a challenge, but they still completed the games with the patient guidance and help of the expansion training teachers and volunteers, and the scene was full of laughter.
According to Ms. Liu Yanjun, General Manager of Meinian Health Marketing, some time ago, during her contact with Tongmu Yangguang, she accidentally learned about the desire of many autistic young people there to visit Fushan Park. It happened that they were organizing a team-building activity, so she combined the two activities and mobilized many colleagues to become volunteers to fulfill the autistic youth's wish to travel to the mountains.
"In just one day, through close contact, my colleagues and I gained a new understanding of the autistic group. Although they have innate disadvantages, they are innocent and kind. Yang Ping, the person in charge of the Qingdao Tongmu Sunshine Assisted Employment Center for the Disabled, told reporters that the autistic young people in the center are working one-on-one as volunteers.
