According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervision Commission on April 8, Jilin Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision reported that Su Jinghua, member of the Standing Committee of the Yanbian Prefecture Committee, deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the prefecture government, and deputy governor, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.

Public information shows that Su Jinghua was born in February 1965, started working in August 1984, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1986, and graduated from the Economic Management Major of the Party School of Jilin Provincial Committee with a postgraduate degree.
Su Jinghua worked in Dunhua City, Yanbian Prefecture in his early years. He served as director of the municipal government office, secretary of the party group and president of the municipal court, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee. In December 2005, he was appointed deputy secretary of the Dunhua Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor.
In January 2008, Su Jinghua was transferred to deputy secretary-general of Yanbian Prefecture Government. In April 2012, he was appointed as the director of the Management Committee of the Hunchun Border Economic Cooperation Zone. In August 2013, he was appointed as the deputy secretary of the Hunchun Municipal Party Committee and the deputy director of the Management Committee of the China Tumen River Region (Hunchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
In March 2016, Su Jinghua was transferred to Wangqing County Party Committee Secretary. In August 2019, he was promoted to Yanbian Prefecture Party Committee Standing Committee and Wangqing County Party Committee Secretary. In November 2021, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Yanbian State Party Committee, deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the state government, and executive deputy governor until this investigation.
