As one of the Shapingba District's national art popularization volunteer service series, this concert and the music salon and master's open class brought by Christian Studler, a flute professor at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland, are sponsored by the Chongqing Shapingba District Culture and Tourism Development Committee. Organized by Shapingba District Cultural Center, Bao Di Society, and Guangde Charity Cultural Foundation.

According to Zhang Yan, a flute teacher at Chongqing Culture and Art Vocational College and Chongqing Art School, the origin of this event can be traced back to 2018. At that time, she received a call from Zhu Yujian, a flute teacher at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, saying that Christian Studler, a flute professor at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland, wanted to come to China for a charity performance. All proceeds from the performance would be donated to a children's welfare home, and she hoped to arrange a performance in Chongqing. Zhang Yan obliged and facilitated the performance.
After 6 years, the same charity performance once again brought together Chinese and Swiss artists in the mountain city. On the afternoon of March 30, Christian Studler, professor of flute at the University of the Arts in Bern, Switzerland, took the lead in giving a public lecture at the Music Salon Master. At the scene, Christia Studler explained the body movements and rhythm training during playing from aspects of flute breathing, pronunciation, and articulation. He also used examples of mineral water bottles, chopsticks, flutes, etc. to integrate all the students participating in the lecture.
At the concert that night, the flute teachers brought the "Flight of the Bumblebee" quartet, "Beethoven's Theme and Variations for Three Flutes", "Mignon Fantasia", "Mayan Double Flute and Piano", "Sunset Flute and Drums" "Piazzolla-Tango Bach", "Telemann Quartet and Digital Bass Version of Fantasia" and other pieces. At the end of the
concert, students from the 80 Di Club from Nankai Middle School, Bashu Middle School, No. 8 Middle School, Shapingba Primary School, Shuren Primary School, Nankai Primary School, Renhejie Primary School, Bashu Primary School, Renmin Primary School, Depp Foreign Language School, etc. We also brought you flute ensemble pieces such as "Hemerocallis", "Spirited Away", "Moonlight Legend", "Scarborough Fair" and "Waltz No. 2".
