From April 5th to 6th, the stage play "The Life of the Disliked Songzi", which currently has a score of 9.0 on Douban, will be performed at Tianfu Performing Arts·Sichuan Grand Theater. The play, starring Sichuan actor Deng Jiajia, tells the story of Songzi's longing to love and be loved, her ups and downs but still being positive and never giving up.
"The Life of the Disliked Matsuko" is adapted from the masterpiece of Japanese writer Yamada Muneki. Both the original novel and the movie of the same name have received widespread attention. The
stage play is directed by director Zhao Miao. The highly stylized stage presentation and large-scale dance settings make this work full of highlights: 60 minutes of physical dance are interspersed with it to convey the emotions in the play and bring the audience closer to each other. Stage distance; more than 200 props and more than 130 sets of costumes, spanning time and space, showing the life of "Songzi"; 15 actors, 25 professions, and 100 characters, going deep into life and expressing the social connotation of "Songzi"; 195 minutes of content volume, The physical explosions and emotional ups and downs always challenge the actors' acting skills.
This play is Deng Jiajia’s first stage play starring in the lead role, and it is also another new challenge for herself.
