Lin Jian said that China firmly opposes and combats all forms of cyber attacks and is committed to strengthening cooperation with other countries through bilateral dialogue or judicial assistance and other channels to jointly respond to cyber security threats on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit. Previously, China had provided technical clarification and response to the so-called "apt31" related information submitted by the British side, clearly indicating that the evidence provided by the British side was insufficient and the relevant conclusions lacked professionalism. But regrettably, there has been no further response from the British side.
Lin Jian said that for some time, the United States has encouraged the "Five Eyes Alliance", the world's largest intelligence organization led by it, to compile and spread various false information about the threat of "Chinese hackers" for geopolitical purposes, and now it has joined forces with the United Kingdom to hype it up The so-called "Chinese cyber attack" even initiated unreasonable unilateral sanctions against China. China firmly opposes this, has lodged stern representations with the United States and relevant parties, and will take necessary measures to safeguard China's legitimate rights and interests.
Lin Jian said that relevant Chinese network security agencies have released a series of reports on the US government’s cyber attacks on China and other countries, but the US government has always pretended to be deaf and dumb.
