The opening ceremony and performance of the 39th Shanghai Spring International Music Festival "Spring Tide on the Pujiang River·Starting a New Journey" - a theme concert celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China will be held on the evening of March 22 at the Shanghai Symphony Hall held.
This concert focuses on three major highlights: the first is the "high-quality products", which select outstanding masterpieces from the special exhibitions hosted by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chinese Musicians Association in recent years; the second is the "gathering of new talents", which invites talents from important domestic and foreign competitions in recent years. Young award-winning contestants participated in the performance; the third is "Classic Reconstruction", performing the piano and orchestra version of "Ode to the Red Flag" adapted by Mr. Lu Qiming himself.
The concert will be conducted by the famous conductor Yu Feng, and will be presented by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Opera House Chorus, Shanghai Conservatory of Music Music Education Department Mixed Choir, China Welfare Society Children's Palace Little Partner Art Troupe, and famous pianist Kong Xiangdong, famous soprano Xu Lei, and rising music talents Wang Shan, Zhu Jing, and Wang Ruiyi also participated.
