The piano soloist at this concert is Wu Chao, associate professor of piano at Wuhan Conservatory of Music, master's tutor, PhD in piano performance, honorary Steinway teacher, and director of the Piano Professional Committee of the Hubei Musicians Association. She studied at Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Central Conservatory of Music and Royal Birmingham Academy of Performing Arts, majoring in piano performance and minoring in chamber music. She currently teaches in the piano performance major at Wuhan Conservatory of Music. At the concert, she will perform classic works by Schubert, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and many other masters for music fans.

Music fans will appreciate Schubert's "Piano Sonata in A major". This work is an important symbol of the maturity of Schubert's sonatas. It has a beautiful and lyrical melody and is also known as the "lovely A major Sonata". Schumann's suite "Butterflies" was inspired by the masquerade in the novel "The Ages of Youth". It consists of an overture and 12 ditties. The melody vividly shows the dazzling scene of the masquerade and the personalities of different characters in the novel. , also embodies the musical thoughts flying out of Schumann's heart. The original meaning of Tchaikovsky's "Dumka" is "meditation". The music incorporates elements of Russian folk music. The melody is broad and smooth, simple, natural, sincere and moving.
