NavInfo said that it began business cooperation with two companies from Baidu in the field of electronic map data in 2009, and later reached a "Cooperation Agreement" in 2013. According to the Cooperation Agreement, NavInfo authorized the two companies to use its electronic map works within the scope of the agreement and paid corresponding license fees to NavInfo. The contract is valid until the end of 2016.

However, after the contract expired, the two parties did not renew it. After the termination of the Cooperation Agreement, Baidu will continue to use the electronic maps provided by NavInfo, provide electronic map products to the public through computer terminals, mobile terminals, etc., and provide electronic maps on vehicle-related applications beyond the scope of the original contract. .
