"I am Alia Adili from the No. 2 Kindergarten in Bachu County, Xinjiang. In the new year, I wish the children to be innocent, cute and move forward courageously. "
On the occasion of the beginning of spring, more than ten well-known kindergarten principals in Shanghai gathered at the "Children's Voices Meet Spring" New Year public subway exhibition, and released 100 New Year's voice blessings from children of all ethnic groups in Shanghai, Yunnan, Xinjiang and Tibet, for everyone in the bustling city. A citizen and a traveler on his way back sent his best wishes, kicking off the third season of the "Children's Voices Unbounded" reading-to-border activity.
Mandarin, native dialect, Uyghur, Tibetan, as well as English, Russian, Italian... These pure and tender voices come from the children who got to know each other through the "Children's Voices Unbounded" aid-border reading activity. On the occasion of the New Year , they expressed their best wishes for the New Year and yearning for spring by exchanging gifts and verbal blessings. Tie-dyed baby elephants, carefully painted postcards, "yaks" walking on the snow-capped mountains and "camels" crossing the desert... The children's handmade gifts are gathered in the exhibition window, showing the customs of various ethnic groups from all over the world. The unique style and warm and joyful New Year scene.
Since the beginning of 2022, the "Children's Voices Without Borders" reading-to-border activity has been successfully held for two seasons. This year’s third season of “Children’s Voices Without Borders” event will see more kindergartens in Shanghai, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Tibet and other places join in pairs to plant the seeds of warmth and love in children’s hearts and promote friendship among children of all ethnic groups in the motherland. The fourth "Yi Qi Go" Kindergarten Charity Practice Competition, which also focuses on cultivating children's charity literacy, will also kick off again.
The children who came to the exhibition to check in with the director’s mother either poked their heads to study the objects in the window, or pressed the red button on the wall to listen closely. When the Easter egg secretly buried by the organizer was discovered, the children rushed to hold the little hand of the ethnic doll on the panel, and the light sign with "Happy New Year" written on the panel would shine for him.
The exhibition is located at the Xintiandi subway station, the site of the National Congress, at the intersection of Line 10 and Line 13. The exhibition period will last until after the Lantern Festival. Citizens and friends are welcome to bring their children to check in and receive the cordial blessings and endless wishes from across the mountains and seas. I am full of good luck in the new year when I meet you unexpectedly.
