2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. The French literary master Molière's play "The Stingy Man" directed by Lin Cong will be screened at the Cao Yu Theater of the Beijing International Drama Center. This classical comedy was presented in the form of a script reading in 2023. It gained a good reputation and also had the foundation to be put on the stage.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Lao She.
