Some time ago, Ni Ping’s new book "Liao Xiao" was published.
's online live broadcast of the new book launch event was watched online by more than 1 million people, which was so popular.
In the new book, Ni Ping shares her understanding of life and her life experiences through healing conversations with 16 amateur women.
This book is also called a "book of answers" for women.
Not only did Yang Tianzhen recommend it, but readers also said that they resonated with Ni Ping's experience and were infected by her sincerity, softness and strength.
Speaking of Ni Ping, we can never avoid her ups and downs, mixed joys and sorrows in life.
In 2014, when the 55-year-old Ni Ping was a guest on "Super Interview", she once said: "If there is a next life, I will neither have parents, nor children, nor a family."
won the "Golden Eagle Award" for Best Actress , the "No. 1 Sister of CCTV" who has hosted the Spring Festival Gala 13 times, why did she say such a thing?
What kind of life experience is behind Ni Ping?
1
Unfortunate childhood, fortunately, my grandma’s preference
In 1959, Ni Ping was born in an ordinary family in Weihai, Shandong, and was named Liu Ping.
She also has an older brother. Because her parents favored sons over daughters, when Ni Ping was 2 years old, she was sent to a kindergarten for care. It took a long time to see her again.
However, there are “too many monks and too few groceries” in the kindergarten. The aunts there have to take care of several children, so how can they have the energy to focus on one child.
Therefore, when my grandma went to the kindergarten to see her granddaughter, her heart was broken. Her granddaughter was sallow and thin, and she looked like she was malnourished.
Afterwards, grandma took little Ni Ping back to her home to take care of her.
In order to provide nutrition for her granddaughter, her grandmother sold the jewelry she had collected for many years and bought a basket of eggs, which she fed to Ni Ping every day. Gradually, little Ni Ping became white and fat.
The happy time of being held in the palm of my grandma passed in a flash. When she was 6 years old, her parents took Ni Ping back to school.
But grandma’s love for Ni Ping had a profound impact on her.
Until many years later, Ni Ping opened a column on social media to write about her grandma, and also publicly stated that her grandma was a very important gift in her life.
And grandma’s life wisdom has also become Ni Ping’s spiritual food in difficult times.
Then again, the days when I returned to my parents were not as beautiful as expected.
Her parents didn't have a good relationship, and the home often became a "battlefield" for their quarrels. The atmosphere at home was always oppressive and suffocating.
In 1977, when Ni Ping was 7 years old, her parents' shaky marriage came to an end.
After her parents divorced, Ni Ping and her brother lived with their mother, while her father reorganized a new family and became cold towards the brothers and sisters.
But the mother's side is not much better. Her mother favors her brother in every aspect and shows no concern for Ni Ping.
Once, I bought apples at home. Ni Ping picked a good apple and was about to wash it and eat it, but her mother said, "Why, you can't eat the bad apples?"
Ni Ping had to change to a bad apple, and peeled the bad apple until it was just small. Only half of it was left before I ate the apple.
Parents’ lack of love left bad childhood memories for Ni Ping.
Her parents' failed marriage also paved the way for her tortuous marriage experience in the future.
By the time she reached high school, Ni Ping had become more and more beautiful. Not only did she have a tall figure of 1.7 meters, she was also very beautiful. She was the kind of person who would become the center of attention wherever she went.
Therefore, she was selected into the school publicity team. In addition to singing and dancing, she also participated in drama performances, and she gradually fell in love with acting.
After taking the college entrance examination in 1979, Ni Ping filled out the application form for Shandong University of the Arts without saying a word, and was finally admitted.
After receiving the admission notice, 17-year-old Ni Ping made the second major decision in her life.
She ran to the police station and changed her father's surname to her mother's surname. From then on, Liu Ping became Ni Ping. This was probably a break with her father and a thank you to her mother for her kindness in raising her.

Transformed from an actor to a host and became the "No. 1 Sister of CCTV"
After going to college, Ni Ping's life seemed to be cheating.
Her outstanding appearance is like a pass, which makes her favored by many film crews. During college, she starred in the feature film "Female Soldier", the movie "Mountain Chrysanthemum" and other works.
Stills of "Female Soldier"
With her outstanding performance, Ni Ping not only showed her acting talent, but also won the Xiaobaihua Award for Best Actress and began to embark on the road of acting.
In 1982, after graduating from university, Ni Ping was assigned to work in Shandong Theater.
This year, she participated in the movie "They Are Not Strangers" and won the title of "National Second-Class Actor" the following year. Ni Ping was only 24 years old at that time.
After that, Ni Ping participated in film and television works such as "Meiling Sparks", "Crying Red Candle", "Echoes of the Qilian Mountains", and "Chinese Girl". With her superb acting skills, she left a deep impression on the audience.
In 1988, 29-year-old Ni Ping starred as the female lead in "Snow City" adapted from the novel of the same name by writer Liang Xiaosheng, and won the "Golden Eagle Award" for Best Actress that year.
Ni Ping shined in her acting career, and she was destined to move to a bigger stage. Later, Ni Ping was invited to host Qingdao TV's Spring Festival Gala with Tang Guoqiang and others.
It was this opportunity to host that Ni Ping was spotted by the director of CCTV and invited her to record a program for CCTV.
This also meant that Ni Ping was leaving Shandong and going to Beijing. After some ideological struggle, Ni Ping decided to try her luck on the big stage of CCTV.
In 1990, Ni Ping was transferred to take over "Variety Show", but when she arrived in the new department, she was collectively ignored by the team.
When the director introduced Ni Ping, everyone ignored her. When it was time to have lunch, no one called her to join them. Everyone opened the door and left, leaving Ni Ping to cry alone.
It turned out that everyone thought she was a relative of the leader, so they didn't want to talk to her. In addition, Ni Ping's image was rustic and she looked like a rural sister-in-law. Everyone was not optimistic that she could host "Variety Show" well.
But from that noon on, Ni Ping, who refused to admit defeat, secretly made up her mind to gain a firm foothold in CCTV on her own.
Ni Ping strives to make up for her lack of professional knowledge. With her approachable hosting style, the ratings of "Variety Show" she hosts continue to increase.
In less than half a year, Ni Ping became the most popular female host among the people.
Since then, Ni Ping has started an era that belongs to her, slapping those who once looked down on her in the face.
Since 1991, Ni Ping has hosted the CCTV Spring Festival Gala 13 times, becoming a veritable "CCTV First Sister". During
, Ni Ping also hosted many programs. In 1994, 1996, and 1997, Ni Ping also won the "Golden Microphone Award", which is a highly valuable host award.
Ni Ping, who has reached the peak of her career, has become the goddess in the hearts of a generation. However, her emotional journey has been full of twists and turns and sadness.
3
Emotions were full of twists and turns, and she lost her dignity for love.
When she was still working at the Shandong Repertory Theater, Ni Ping married her first love in college, and the two gave birth to a daughter soon after the marriage.
But because her ex-husband wanted stability, but Ni Ping wanted to develop in Beijing, the two people with different goals eventually divorced, and their daughter belonged to her ex-husband.
Later, when she joined CCTV, Ni Ping met the second man who attracted her attention, Guo Da.
Guo Da is a famous sketch actor in the Spring Festival Gala. He is funny and humorous. After getting to know Ni Ping, the two got along very well, and Ni Ping often confided her work worries to him.
As time passed, the two people who admired each other established a romantic relationship and even wanted to get married.
But this relationship eventually ended in a breakup. The reason was that Ni's mother believed that Guo Da was not worthy of her daughter whose career was rising rapidly, so she strongly opposed the two being together.
At this time, Ni Ping, who had been on the rocks repeatedly emotionally, began to shine on the stage of "Variety Show". With her elegant image and the unique charm of a career woman, Ni Ping had many suitors around her.
Among them is the famous director Chen Kaige.
In 1991, Chen Kaige had just divorced his ex-wife Hong Huang.
At a program event, Chen Kaige fell in love with Ni Ping at first sight. Facing the mature and charming Chen Kaige, Ni Ping was also moved.
Soon after, the two became lovers, and they began to live together in the second year after falling in love.
Outside, Ni Ping is a glamorous CCTV host.
When she returned home, she was a virtuous housewife. Not only was she willing to take care of Chen Kaige's daily life and diet, she also took the initiative to take care of Chen Kaige's seriously ill father.
In 1994, Chen's father passed away due to illness. Chen Kaige was busy with work. Ni Ping took the initiative to take on the responsibility of "Chen's wife", taking care of daily affairs, wearing sackcloth and filial piety, and silently contributing.
At that time, the two had been together for 4 years, but Chen Kaige delayed marrying Ni Ping because he did not want to get married.
After experiencing two failed relationships, Ni Ping cherished this relationship and believed that Chen Kaige would marry her sooner or later.
However, what happened next poured cold water on Ni Ping and made her wake up instantly: It turned out that Chen Kaige didn't want to get married, he just didn't want to marry her!
One day in 1996, Chen Hong came to Ni Ping and told her that she was pregnant with Chen Kaige's child. Ni Ping didn't believe it and immediately called Chen Kaige to confront her. Chen Kaige was silent, and then said: "Ping, I'm sorry, I can only choose to break up with you because she is pregnant."
It turned out that in 1993, when Chen Kaige was filming "Farewell My Concubine", Chen Hong went to the crew to visit his friend, Chen Kaige She was stunned by Chen Hong's beauty and temperament, so she pursued Chen Hong passionately behind her back.
Ni Ping was heartbroken when she was so betrayed.
After that, every time she thought of this relationship, Ni Ping said: "This was a time when she had no dignity and lost herself."

Treating children, 10 years of hard work
In 1997, Ni Ping held a press conference for her new book "Days". A friend introduced me and invited Wang Wenlan to shoot the scene.
Photographer Wang Wenlan has long admired Ni Ping. Now that he sees the goddess deeply hurt, he often invites Ni Ping out to comfort and accompany her.
After that, the two naturally came together and entered the palace of marriage. Not long after marrying Wang Wenlan, 40-year-old Ni Ping gave birth to her son Huzi.
However, the mockery of fate never let Ni Ping go.
When Huzi was 10 months old, he was diagnosed with congenital cataracts. Since then, Ni Ping and her husband took their children to receive treatment in many hospitals in Beijing.
However, the child's eye disease never improved, and even continued to worsen, which became a dark cloud above Ni Ping's head that could not be dispelled.
In order to treat the disease, the couple spent all their savings and owed huge debts, so Ni Ping thought of returning to the film and television industry to make money.
She met director Yang Yazhou through a friend's introduction.
In 2002, Yang Yazhou was preparing to shoot the movie "Beautiful Big Feet". As the leading actress of CCTV, Ni Ping was well-known, so Yang Yazhou asked her to play the female lead.
During the filming process, Yang Yazhou often told Ni Ping about the drama. He saw her eating and drinking with the actors in the drama. She had no airs and was strong. He was gradually moved and attracted by her, but the two only treated each other as friends. After
, Ni Ping took the child to the hospital for examination. The doctor gave an ultimatum to treat the child as soon as possible, otherwise the child may become permanently blind after the age of 5.
An anxious Ni Ping unexpectedly learned that it was possible to cure her child's disease in the United States. As a mother, as long as there is a chance of survival, she will give it a try.
Faced with the bottomless pit of huge medical expenses, Wang Wenlan planned to give up and have another baby, but Ni Ping firmly disagreed.
For this reason, the two had an unprecedented quarrel, and their eight-year marriage came to an end.
In 2004, Ni Ping quit her golden job at CCTV and took her child to the United States for treatment. After that, she filmed in China to raise medical expenses.
Perhaps it was God's pity that in Ni Ping's most difficult moment, the person who could protect her appeared.
Shortly after Ni Ping's divorce, Yang Yazhou invited her to star in the film "Loaches Are Also Fishes". During this period, he often cared about and took care of her. This moved Ni Ping very much.
In 2006, Yang Yazhou proposed to Ni Ping, and Ni Ping agreed.
After marriage, Yang Yazhou cared very much for Ni Ping and loved her son. She regarded her son as her own and loved her from the bottom of her heart.
Yang Yazhou knew that Ni Ping often took late-night flights to the United States in order to save money, so he paid for Ni Ping to book a daytime flight so that she could have a good rest;
Ni Ping had financial difficulties, so Yang Yazhou supported her and accompanied her. She went to the United States to visit and take care of Hu Zi.
After ten years of hard work, Ni Ping finally came to an end.
In 2014, the doctor told Ni Ping: The child's eye disease was cured and no longer needed treatment.
At that moment, Ni Ping cried with joy, as if the dark cloud lingering above her head finally dissipated, and the sun would shine brightly in her future life.
As she said in her new book:
"If you want to reach a bright spot in life, you often need to go through countless darkest moments."
Ni Ping, who is in her 60s, has experienced misery for most of her life.
After countless darkest moments, he finally ushered in the bright spot of his life and got a good ending. His children grew up healthily and his lover was always by his side.
The bumpy road finally reaches the starry sky.
Even if bad luck surrounds us, I hope everyone can keep hope and wait for good things to come.
