"Goldfinger" focuses on a real case that shocked the world. It tells the story of a down-and-out young man Cheng Yiyan (played by Tony Leung) who used all means to engage in illegal money and power transactions and became a billionaire. Senior investigation director Liu Qiyuan (played by Andy Lau) persevered in the cross-border pursuit for a long time. After 15 years, the truth was finally revealed. The story shows that money games give rise to ambition and desire, and exposes the complexity of human nature.

When asked where the creative inspiration came from, Zhuang Wenqiang said that he hopes to make some new attempts, and his innovation has also been recognized by the industry.
Tony Leung said that making movies is a channel for him to vent his inner emotions; Charlene Choi described the character as "a tragic character who is trapped in the temptation of money and cannot escape". When Simon Yam mentioned the endings of the characters played by the main creators, he said "It was all because of greed", which briefly but powerfully explained the core expression of the movie "Goldfinger" about the desire for money and the complexity of human nature.
