3. The electric blanket should not be in direct contact with human skin. You can put a layer of sheets or a thin quilt on the electric blanket.
4. It is not easy to keep the power on for too long. Generally, it is powered on for heating before going to bed, and the power is turned off when falling asleep. It cannot be used overnight, and the power must be cut off when going out.
Case 2
In January 2022, a 12-year-old boy in Chongqing was scalded to his lower body when a hot water bottle burst. The doctor diagnosed the boy with moderate burns.

1. When purchasing, you should choose electric heating wire type electric hot water bottles and buy them from regular merchants, especially if there is a "3C" certification mark. Do not buy substandard products.
2. When using an electric hot water bottle, it is forbidden to charge it while using it to avoid the risk of explosion.
3. When using an electric hot water bottle, you need to check whether it is damaged or leaking. If it exceeds its service life, it should be replaced in time to prevent electric shock.
4. It is best not to put the hot water bottle inside the bedding to avoid burns and accidents.
Case 3
On December 25, 2021, a fire broke out in a private house in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. There was an open flame coming out of the window, and the fire was fierce. Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire, but an 80-year-old man inside the house died. Later, some residents claimed that the fire was caused by leaving the electric heater on all night.

1. Do not use electric heaters with other high-power electrical appliances, otherwise excessive power may easily cause power outages or other accidents.
2. When the electric heater is in use, the body temperature is very high. Do not cover it with clothes and keep it away from electrical sockets, curtains, bedding and other items.
3. Explosive items such as lighters, toilet water, air fresheners, etc. should not be too close to the electric heater to avoid explosion.
4. If oil leakage, abnormal noise, etc. occur while using the electric heater, you must stop using it immediately and ask a professional to repair it. Do not disassemble it yourself.
5. Do not use it for a long time. The power needs to be cut off when people are walking to prevent short circuits caused by aging lines.
Case 4
On November 9, 2022, the bathroom heater in the toilet of a resident in Fujian caught fire. The firefighters removed the bathroom heater. It can be seen that the interior was basically burned, and there were no casualties.

1. When purchasing, choose a regular brand and ask professionals to install it to avoid line overload.
2. Check the circuit regularly and replace the insulation layer if it is found to be aging. If the bathroom heater has not been used for a long time, check the circuit and light bulbs before use.
3. Do not let water splash on the motor, especially do not let shower gel, shampoo and other foam splash on the motor or other electrical components to prevent corrosion and damage to the insulation and cause a short circuit.
4. After using the bathroom heater, turn off the switch and unplug it. Be careful to prevent the motor from getting damp, which will reduce the insulation performance of its electronic components and cause fire or electric shock.
5. If any abnormality occurs during use, the power should be turned off immediately. Do not disassemble or repair by yourself. Be sure to ask professional maintenance personnel to check and repair.
