The current conditions, historical context, coordination and integration of the seven historical blocks of Shan Road, Huangtai Road, Sanjiang Road, and Wudi Road are aimed at new shipping, new trade, new finance and other industrial directions. This paved the way for the comprehensive start of the core area of the international shipping trade financial innovation center. After deeply exploring the potential of courtyard villa resources in the neighborhood, Shibei District decided to make good use of Qingdao’s status as a starting point for the “One Belt One Road” initiative to create a high-level and more open business environment, and to focus on developing and gathering new trade industries on Wuding Road to attract foreign affairs Functional institutions, taking advantage of the consulate's foreign affairs and business attraction capabilities, gather a number of new trade headquarters. As an important road in the early urban construction of Qingdao, Wuding Road carries the historical memory of the century-old north of the old city and is also the main passage from Qingdao city to Dagang in the early days. The Liuzishan villa complex on Wuding Road is a set of 19 villas with a history of nearly a hundred years. It is an enclosed area of Wuding Road, Shanghai Road, Shanghai Branch Road and Ningbo Road.
Combining the geographical location, preservation status, architectural style, and historical origin of the historic district, how to make the old buildings on Wuding Road look new?
