Wang Jungang, owner of Gao Yixiang’s brokerage firm, confirmed that he would do his best to transport the body back to Taipei and hoped that all parties would help.
It is understood that the local embalming cost of Gao Yixiang's body is about 100,000 yuan. If the procedures are completed, the body will be transported back to Taiwan by passenger plane for cremation. The flight cost is about 20,000 yuan, which is estimated to cost 120,000 yuan in total. In addition, there are many restrictions on the transportation of the remains out of the country, and it is time-consuming and labor-intensive to apply for and issue certificates from multiple departments. According to Taiwanese sources, in order to meet the wishes of Gao Yixiang's parents, Zhejiang Satellite TV also stated that it would "listen to family members."
