On the evening of November 13, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra entered ShanghaiTech University and jointly presented a chamber music concert to more than 800 audiences.

This is the second time the Philadelphia Symphony has visited Shanghai University of Science and Technology for exchanges after the series of performances commemorating the 50th anniversary of the orchestra's first visit to China in November 2023. It is also the first time in five years that the Shanghai Philharmonic has joined hands with the Philadelphia Symphony to hold a series of symphonic art campus tours at Shanghai University of Science and Technology. .

At the concert, performers from the two groups formed different ensembles and performed works by composers such as Beethoven, Dvořák and Weber. The performers also performed the "Holberg Suite" by Norwegian composer Grieg in the form of a string orchestra.

Together with Liu Yuchen, a master's student in the School of Information Science and Technology of Shanghai University of Science and Technology and a member of the school orchestra, they discussed their understanding and insights of "music and creativity".
