In aircraft maintenance projects, aircraft engine replacement is one of the most difficult and complex tasks. Sort out and evaluate, and formulate a complete work plan. Through combing, a total of 10 differences in engine replacement between C919 aircraft and other aircraft types were identified, and 30 control measures were formulated, including special processing procedures based on the characteristics of ips.

The replacement of aircraft engines is mainly divided into "disassembly, installation and testing". In the early stage of the replacement, China Eastern Technology Northwest Branch transported engine brackets, O-type reverse thrust brackets, rear core cover brackets, front core cover spreaders and other replacement tools to the hangar in advance, and paid attention to the use of tooling. Matters and other matters are made into reminder cards and posted in prominent locations, and hair replacement personnel are organized to conduct multiple operating drills on hair replacement tools. China Eastern Technology's maintenance engineers spent 9 days completing the engine oil seal, reverse thrust disassembly and assembly, core cover disassembly, engine replacement, variable frequency generator disassembly and assembly, engine drive pump disassembly and assembly, eec test, idle test, power function test, With 60 routine tasks including acceleration tests and more than 10 non-routine tasks, the company successfully completed the first engine replacement of the C919 aircraft with aircraft number b-919a.

It is reported that China Eastern Airlines Technology obtained the C919 engine replacement maintenance capability this year, becoming the first aircraft maintenance company in the world to have this maintenance capability. In the future, China Eastern Technology will work with COMAC to further optimize the engine replacement process, improve engine replacement efficiency, and promote the continuous improvement of the competitiveness of the domestically produced large aircraft C919 products.
