The five-episode historical and cultural documentary
"Tashilhunbu" broadcast on China Central Radio and Television Station, Tibet Satellite TV and other platforms won the Outstanding TV Documentary Award
The documentary "Tashilhunbu" is based on a broad humanistic vision, from the perspective of Chinese civilization Starting from the historical pattern of pluralism and unity, we take Tashilhunpo Temple, one of the six major monasteries of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism and the seat of the Panchen Lama in history, as the starting point, and the vicissitudes of Tashilhunpo Temple in the past 600 years as the starting point. The main axis systematically presents the time steps of the Sinicization of Tibetan Buddhism, vividly tells the story of Panchen Lama's patriotism and religion, protecting the country and benefiting the people, the history of exchanges and integration of various ethnic groups, and the system of "reincarnation of living Buddhas", which is profound. It explains the inner logic of forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.
