During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, "crowds" drive "popularity", forming a beautiful scroll flowing through China, reflecting the steady and progressive development trend of China's economy.

The tourism market continues to be booming. According to estimates from the data center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, there were 107 million domestic trips across the country, an increase of 6.3% over the same period in 2019 on a comparable basis; domestic tourists spent a total of 51.047 billion yuan on travel, an increase of 8.0% over the same period in 2019.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the film market is rich in supply. According to statistics from the National Film Administration, the national movie box office during the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 15 to 17) was 389 million yuan, with 9.57 million moviegoers. The domestic film box office was 332 million yuan, accounting for 85.35%.

State Post Bureau Monitoring data shows that during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the national postal express industry received 1.307 billion express parcels, a daily average increase of 35.4% over last year's Mid-Autumn Festival; it delivered 1.407 billion express parcels, a year-on-year increase of 45.7%.

The National Immigration Administration reported on September 18 that during this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival, border inspection agencies across the country protected a total of 5.256 million Chinese and foreign personnel entering and leaving the country, with an average of 1.752 million passengers per day, an increase of 18.6% compared with the same period during the Mid-Autumn Festival last year.
