As the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation is about to be held in Beijing, the documentary "We Are Neighbors" carefully produced by the China Central Radio and Television Station has been broadcast on multiple platforms of the China-Africa Cooperation Station, giving a panoramic view of China and Africa's technological, economic and cultural exchanges. The results of cooperation in exchanges vividly record the stories of mutual benefit, win-win results, people-to-people connections, and mutual learning between civilizations between China and Africa.
"We Are Neighbors" has three episodes in total, each episode is 30 minutes. The first episode "Across Mountains and Seas" tells the story of China and Africa, who are thousands of miles apart, across the long river of time, across the barriers of mountains and seas, and the glorious journey of working hand in hand on the road to building a China-Africa community with a shared future in the new era, letting the voice of China-Africa friendship echo. Between the vast land and mountains of Central Africa. The second episode, "Walk to the Heart," tells the story of the Chinese and African people's common yearning for health, happiness, and dreams, allowing the tree of China-Africa friendship to blossom into more colorful flowers of friendship. The third episode, "Together for the Future," shows how China and Africa create a better future for the Chinese and African people, nurture new hope for the world's tomorrow, and set a shining example of a shared future for all mankind.
The documentary "We Are Neighbors" will be broadcast on CCTV Chinese International Channel (cctv-4) from September 2 to 4 at 18:30, and will be available on cgtn in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic from September 3 Chinese and Russian channels will be broadcast one after another. Since August 15, the program promotional video has been broadcast on 1,297 outdoor screens, national TV stations in 19 countries, and 13 new media websites in Africa, covering 54 African countries, with a total coverage of more than 1.4 billion people. Afterwards, the documentary "We Are Neighbors" will be broadcast in many African countries.
