On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Shanghai, this year's Shanghai International Film Festival has specially planned "City·Light and Shadow: Celebration" around the theme of "City of Film". The "75th Anniversary of the Founding of New China and Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Shanghai Theme Film Festival" section will focus on the Shanghai imprint appearing in the film.

Yesterday, Zhou Li, chief editor of Five Star Sports and ambassador of Shanghai’s “Readable Architecture”, appeared as the first guest at the “Discovering the Truth, Goodness and Beauty in Film and Television” series of lectures, titled “Experiencing the Cultural Background of Classic Movies on the Streets of Shanghai”. Pang Hao, a visual artist based in Shanghai, said that this design is his contribution to film and television as a "mortal movie fan." Pang Hao loves movies and Shanghai. In 2007, not long after graduating from university, he came to Shanghai to work with a camera and a list of nearly a hundred movies shot in Shanghai. "A lot of my knowledge of Shanghai before graduating from university came from movies, so as soon as I arrived in Shanghai, I I started looking up on Douban where a certain movie was filmed in Shanghai, and then rushed to take pictures. When the neighborhoods, scenes, and buildings in the movie were all matched one by one in my exploration, I became more thorough. I fell in love with movies and Shanghai."

After receiving invitations to create posters for this film festival and TV festival, Pang Hao said that he was so happy that he "wanted to sing an aria." . He allowed himself to return to his true nature and stood diagonally opposite the Grand Guangming Cinema from an angle where moviegoers like to check in. He took pictures of the silhouettes of pedestrians passing by and combined them with Shanghai Film Festival, Cathay Cinema, Lyceum Cinema and other places familiar to Shanghai Film Festival fans.
