" I am not Pan Jinlian " had high hopes from Feng Xiaogang , but the final presentation effect was shocking.
Everything in "I'm Not Pan Jinlian" is formalism and superficial, just like the square and round scenes in the film. It seems that the sky is round and the place is round, and there should be rules.
But Feng Xiaogang was so aggressive and wanted to publish it all, but it was actually a bluff. He was exporting emotional value and catering to the market, which is very different from serious movies.
is different from Zhang Yimou's " Qiu Ju's Lawsuit ". It uses a documentary method to tell the story of Qiu Ju's lawsuit in order to get an explanation. The main purpose is to explore human relations and legal principles, popularize the law and usage, and it seems to be the real thing.
And what about "I'm Not Pan Jinlian"? Feng Xiaogang started to advance the plot without even understanding the core, which resulted in a particularly serious sense of emptiness in the castle in the air. The story became false and could not convince the audience.
Why did Li Xuelian persist in complaining? One is because of the fake divorce, and the other is because Qin Yuhe said she was Pan Jinlian.
Let’s talk about the first point first. Li Xuelian’s fake divorce was the first thing that went wrong. Her husband divided the house and found someone else and did not remarry her. Legally, the husband was not at fault.

So what did they do? The judge ruled that Qin Yuhe won. Li Xuelian said that he had accepted bribes, but he only accepted the bacon that Li Xuelian delivered to her door. The dean asked her to go through the procedure to appeal. The county magistrate did not want to pay attention and found an excuse to walk out of the back door to avoid it. It can be said that Feng Xiaogang did not have these two meanings but it is impossible. Let’s look at the second point where Li Xuelian said she was wronged.

However, Feng Xiaogang refused to explain clearly. He insisted on bringing up a cow to tease and forced the lawsuit to continue. At the end, he arranged for Qin Yuhe's unexpected death to force the lawsuit to end. His screenwriting skills were far inferior to those of his films at the beginning of the century. The story The fluency is gone, leaving only the false slogans.
And in "Qiu Ju's Lawsuit", why does Qiu Ju continue to file a lawsuit? Because of the village chief's contempt, she wanted to ask for an explanation instead of feeling wronged. Why didn't

But what about Feng Xiaogang? "I'm Not Pan Jinlian" is simply unconvincing and keeps searching for enemies in the void.

They were right and serious, but no one really dealt with what Li Xuelian complained about, and they all prevented her from going to Beijing to file a complaint. Feng Xiaogang wanted to use this comparison to ridicule, but there was no solid foundation to support it, which made the idea he wanted to convey unable to withstand scrutiny.
