Feng Wei, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region of the Motion Picture Association of America and President of Greater China, combined with Hollywood's copyright protection mechanism, analyzed the impact of the current piracy problem on the value of the film, and pointed out that both the theater market and the streaming media digital distribution market are facing Against the background of technological innovation, the window period setting of film and television content is changing. The PVOD model is still on the eve of its explosion, and the application of digital copyright protection technology will accelerate the arrival of this moment. Wei Zeyin, technical director of TCL Industrial Holdings Software Engineering Center, pointed out that as a terminal manufacturer, high-definition technical indicators such as 4K and HDR have been widely realized, and there is an urgent need to have a large amount of ultra-high-definition or early-window high-value content so that these technical characteristics can be presented to audience.In the PVOD business model, terminal manufacturers can also participate more deeply in content operations and obtain corresponding benefits.
