On the afternoon of February 15, "Jia Ling returned to her hometown with a hot and spicy look" became a hot search topic and attracted attention.
Jia Ling was born in Yicheng, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province in 1982. On February 15, the crew of "Hot and Spicy" came to her hometown of Xiangyang, Hubei Province to hold a special road show.
In the post-screening communication session, Jia Ling led the cast and crew to share the plot and reveal the behind-the-scenes information. At 15:38, Coach Wang, the technical director of "Hot and Spicy", came to the scene with two apprentices. One of the apprentices was Zhang Guiling, who played the boxing champion Liu Hongxia at the end of the film.
Jia Ling shared her experience of learning boxing and said that she didn’t like to talk about weight loss, but boxing is a really good sport and deserves to be promoted. Women's boxing matches usually last for two minutes, with four rounds in total. I used to think that it was a relatively relaxed sport because the time was short and two-minute rounds allowed for rest. But after formally learning boxing, I discovered that this sport is really tiring. When a person is in a state of high tension, two minutes seems extremely long.
"Especially the two minutes when she was beaten by Gui Ling." Jia Ling added jokingly.
Subsequently, at the enthusiastic request of the audience, Jia Ling and the two apprentices of the technical director of "Hot and Spicy" both had a boxing sparring session with Coach Wang.
Before putting on the gloves, Jia Ling explained that bandages must be wrapped inside the gloves to protect her fingers. During the boxing, Jia Ling's valiant posture attracted bursts of cheers from the audience, and they praised her as "goddess" and "so handsome". Some male audience members even jokingly called her "husband", which made Jia Ling laugh.

At the road show, Zhang Guiling talked about her feelings about "beating" Jia Ling in the movie. She said that she was particularly worried that Jia Ling would be injured when she was fighting. The boxing scene was a real fight between the two. The process itself was actually painful.
Zhang Guiling thought that Jia Ling's part in this scene was particularly difficult. "I controlled the rhythm in the boxing scenes. It was very hard for the person being beaten, but I was relatively relaxed."

Technical director Coach Wang said that boxing is the oldest and high-intensity confrontational sport. It is a sport for brave people and requires a brave heart.
