"Thousands of Miles of Harvest Picture" focuses on reality and takes into account the artistic creation perspective of the times. It is based on the professional inspection and practice courses carried out by teachers and students of various professional departments of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts during the summer vacation, and took root in the countryside. What you see and hear in the countryside is used as creative material. By presenting the harvest scenes and rich and diverse regional crops in various parts of the country, it shows the concept of "harvest" scenery along the way to "Harvest China" and uses the language of art to interpret the grand scene of farmers' harvests. .

The composition and shape of this painting were inspired by the works of Professors Du Dakai and Liu Jude from the Department of Painting. The basic color palette draws on Van Gogh's classic work "Harvest", which is intended to highlight the warm emotions and vitality of the harvest.

In the center of the picture, sorghum from Zunyi, Guizhou, and corn from Northeast China are selected as the core of the entire painting. On the left side, from the autumn sun in the Huangling Mountains to the abundant rice, from the flying swans to the flocks of cattle and sheep, it vividly shows the prosperity of livestock due to abundant grain. Harvest scene. The right side brings together vegetables and fruits from the north and south of the motherland, celebrating the autumn harvest season. The "vegetable baskets" from all over the motherland are abundant and the "fruit baskets" are beautiful.

This "Thousand Miles of Harvest Picture" was artistically planned by Wen Bo, a researcher at the Institute of Cultural Heritage and Innovation Design of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, and the theme art was conceived by Lian Peiwei, a student of the Painting Department of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts, and collaborated with Wang Xiyue, Chen Boxian, and Sun Tianlong , Li Coltsfoot and other painting students jointly created the painting, which took 8 hours and the roll was 10 meters long.
