On January 6, Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province held the 4th "District Chief's Cup" figure skating competition for primary and secondary school students. Nearly a hundred skaters from 28 primary and secondary schools participated in this competition. The competition not only showcased the ice charisma of Qingdao’s youth, but was also an important achievement of the district’s active response to the “introduction of ice and snow sports to campus” initiative.
It is understood that since China launched the initiative of "ice and snow sports into campus", Qingdao Shinan District has actively responded and not only established Qingdao's first campus ice hockey team, but also established multiple campus skating clubs and figure skating teams. These measures not only enrich the school's extracurricular activities, but also enhance the health of young people and cultivate their fighting spirit and competitive ability.
