Chengdu has become a "concert city". Fans have long been unable to bear it and have been working hard to get tickets. Scammers have also targeted the eagerness of fans. They have carefully concocted scams and many people have been fooled. Deceived.
Recently, Ms. Hu from Nannan County, Nanchong City learned that a certain singer was going to have a concert in Chengdu. She was about to buy tickets, but her tickets were sold out as soon as she logged on to the official website. In order to see the true appearance of her idol, Ms. Hu searched for ways to purchase tickets on major social networking platforms, and finally saw someone on Douyin claiming that she had "internal channels" to purchase tickets, and immediately contacted the person via private message. In the chat with
, the other party claimed to be an "internal employee of the organizer" who had special channels and had helped many people successfully purchase tickets. He also sent relevant "ticket issuance" information and "express delivery" screenshots. However, the cautious Ms. Hu did not fully believe it, but asked for more relevant information to confirm the authenticity.
Then, the other party sent relevant "ticket issuance" information again. After seeing so much information, Ms. Hu finally let down her guard. Subsequently, she entered an "internal ticket sales" website by scanning the QR code sent by the other party. After filling in her personal information and ticket collection address, she transferred 5,000 yuan to the other party's designated account.
After payment was available, although the website showed that the ticket purchase was successful, I was told that the ticket wassuance failed. Seeing this, Ms. Hu immediately asked about the reason for the failure, and the other party directly sent her a URL for her to click to check. After entering, the website showed that "the bank account is abnormal, please contact customer service to complete the transaction certificate." and a "customer service" dialog box popped up, asking him to transfer 8,000 yuan to the designated account for "unfreezing".
Seeing this, the hesitant Ms. Hu was considering whether to transfer money to the other party when she received a call from the police to dissuade her. Only then did she realize that she had been cheated.
