The results of the Chinese Movie Audience Satisfaction Survey recently released by the China Film Archive show that the 2024 New Year's Day films are of diverse types, and their content and themes are consistent with the holiday New Year's Eve atmosphere, and have received high satisfaction ratings.
Among the five films in the main survey, the comedy "The Annual Party Can't Stop!" leads the way with a satisfaction score of 84.2 points. According to the survey, the film has a lot of laughs, and the workplace theme can easily arouse the audience's empathy.
In addition, the satisfaction scores of "Goldfinger", "Stealth", "Twinkle Twinkle Star" and "If You Are the One 3" ranked second to fifth in the period. Among them, "Twinkle Twinkle Star" was well received by the audience for its visual effects, musical effects and other elements, while "Stealth" attracted attention in terms of the performance of the main actors and the profoundness of its thoughts.
It is reported that the satisfaction project surveyed a total of 76 films in the past year. The results show that in 2023, domestic films will rely on steady and high-quality creations to demonstrate strong box office appeal, injecting impetus into the continued recovery of the film market.
