On the evening of July 23, the 4th Shanghai International Dance Center Youth Dance Festival and Dance Competition ended in Shanghai. During the Youth Dance Festival, activities such as dance competitions, famous teacher lectures, dance master classes, Han and Tang dance training camps, and closing performances have ignited many children's enthusiasm and creativity for art. Huang Doudou, the initiator of the Youth Dance Festival and dance artist, said: "The children participating in the Youth Dance Festival may not become professional dancers in the future, but the ability to appreciate, experience and create beauty will accompany them throughout their lives. As an important part of the Youth Dance Festival, the youth dance competition has been open to children aged 7 to 15 across the country since it was launched in March. Teenagers received nearly 1,000 applications from 16 provinces and cities, and about 400 participating programs, including Chinese dance, ballet, modern dance and hip-hop. On July 20th and 21st, the finals were held in the Grand Theater of Shanghai International Dance Center, and the young dancers in costumes showed off their demeanor on the professional stage.
