Duntai fingerprint recognition chip has been certified by Xiaomi and OV, and the annual shipment will exceed 50 million

According to a report from Juheng.com, on April 26, Duntai held a shareholder exchange meeting. Hu Zhengda, chairman of Duntai, said at the exchange meeting that this year's global mobile phone shipments may decline compared with last year, and the mobile phone market is conservative and expected. In the second quarter, the customer's strength in pulling goods will not be too strong, and it is expected to recover in the second half of the year.

Hu Zhengda said that due to the impact of the epidemic, the Russian-Ukrainian war, etc., the mobile phone and notebook computer markets have not yet recovered, coupled with the high inventory level in the supply chain, the company's shipments have been delayed slightly; for gross profit margins, Hu Zhengda believes that, The production cycle of the semiconductor supply chain is long and the cost response is slow. It is expected that the reflection will continue all the way to the end of this quarter, but the overall gross profit margin is still within a controllable range.

In addition, Duntai has previously signed long-term contracts with suppliers and customers respectively, and is optimistic that the annual shipment will maintain a considerable level. In terms of price, according to the content signed by both parties, customers only guarantee the quantity, not the price.

Duntai is also actively distributing products and applications. At present, fingerprint recognition products have been certified by manufacturers such as Xiaomi, vivo, and OPPO. They are mainly capacitive. Shipments have begun in the first quarter, and the annual shipment is expected to reach 50 million to 60 million pieces.
