On the morning of September 25, the reporter saw at the construction site that workers were adjusting the length of the "push rod" to facilitate the oil roof to push the prefabricated "cement box culvert" forward. It is understood that the project of crossing the Ningqi railway under Yangzijiang Road is divided into two box culverts, east and west. The west side box culvert was completed last night, and the east side box culvert was officially started at 6:00 am on September 25th. According to the person in charge of the site, the box culvert on the east side is 9 meters wide and weighs about 1,300 tons. At present, the equipment used in the project is 6 oil lifts, with an average of 500 tons, and a total of 3,000 tons of lift force. According to reports, the box culvert advances about one meter every 20 minutes on average. To accurately locate this behemoth, technicians escorted it throughout the entire process, and once the deviation is found, it will be adjusted in time through the thrust of the oil top.
In order to ensure that the construction does not affect the normal operation of the Ningqi Railway , the construction party reserved some earthwork under the original bridge and culvert, and the earthwork was removed little by little during the advancement of the box culvert. According to reports, the east side box culvert is expected to be completed tonight. After the completion of the two box culverts, the passage under the Yangzijiang Road through the Ningqi Railway will be widened from 6 lanes to 11 lanes, with a total width of nearly 67 meters.
