RM from BTS donated 100 million won to the museum on his birthday

Rap Monster, the captain of

BTS BTS, celebrated his recent birthday in a meaningful way! According to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), Kim Nam-jun (Rap Monster) generously donated 100 million won (approximately US$84,200) on his birthday on September 12.


Kim Nam-joon (Rap Monster)’s donation will be used to reprint rare and out-of-print art-related books, some of which will be sent to elementary, middle and high schools in 400 locations across the country. These reprinted books will also be purchased in the museum's bookstore.

Just as he has a deeper understanding of art through books, he also hopes Those children and young people who are not easy to enter the museum can easily access art through these books.
