On the morning of June 6, the former Luneng player Feng Jianguo and his wife were tried in the Lixia District Court of Jinan on suspicion of obstructing official duties. In March of this year, Feng Jianguo and his wife broke the ribs after they illegally stopped.
In the court hearing, Feng Jianguo claimed that his wife Li Na suffered from mental illness and required sleeping pills to fall asleep all the year round, and had been to the hospital for depression-related treatment. During the trial, Li Na, as the defendant, also hid her face and wept for a while.
On the afternoon of March 4 this year, policeman Wang Yong of the Seventh Squadron of Traffic Police Brigade of Lixia District captured the illegal parking behavior of Lu A3693V Mercedes-Benz. After returning, Li Na, the Mercedes-Benz driver, drove and insulted the police twice. Later, Li Na’s husband Feng Jianguo drove to the scene in a Lu AM1111 BMW. The two used violent means to pull and beat the police on duty, causing the fifth and sixth ribs of the police to fracture.
Feng Jianguo played for Luneng from 1994 to 1998 as a defender. After moving to TEDA in 1999 for two years, he returned to Luneng until his retirement. Feng Jianguo's most shining performance was in the 1996 season A Luneng against Shenhua, when he scored an ultra-long shot near the middle circle.
