Self-driving tour in Gannan, Gansu. On this day, we arrived at Yeliguan Town, Lintan County. Yeliguan’s most famous place is the Yehai Tianchi, which is said to be a beautiful Gaoxia Pinghu, and it was also the location shooting of Zhang Jizhong’s version of "Journey to the West" base. In our country, there are many mountain lakes called "Tianchi". The famous Changbai Mountain Tianchi, Tianshan Tianchi and have all been there. Then, what is so special about this Yehai Tianchi in Gannan?
We had been to Yeliguan the evening before, and we stayed for one night and went straight to Yehai Tianchi the next morning. After parking the car in the parking lot, you need to climb a mountain on foot to see the mountain lake in front of you. To be honest, I was disappointed when I first saw Yehai Tianchi. The lake view itself was okay, but the messy large rocks, tents, awnings and other facilities on the shore of the lake affected the view, and finally walked to the pier. Nearby, I took this cleaner picture. The clear lake reflects the surrounding towering peaks, the mountains are green and the scenery is beautiful. Yehai Tianchi is also a sacred lake advocated by local Tibetans. It is called "Ama Zhoucuo" in Tibetan. The five-colored prayer flags on the lake face the wind fiercely.
Do you think it is over just by looking at the scenery on the lake shore? No, the essence of Yehai Tianchi is still behind. Take a speedboat from the dock and go boating on the "sea" to enjoy the whole view of Yehai from a different perspective. When you arrive on the grassy beach on the other side of the lake, you will feel completely different. In the canyon on the other side of the lake, there is a wide and flat grassland, where horses graze the dewy grass leisurely, and the morning sun is warm.
The meandering stream connects with Yehai Tianchi at one end and flows deep into the canyon without seeing their source. When we first arrived at Yehai Tianchi, there were almost no other tourists because of the early time. When we arrived at this grassy beach, we met a lot of herders. They brought their own food, made a fire and boiled water to eat on the grass. It was so pleasant, see When we arrived, we greeted us warmly to eat together, which was quite simple.
Flocks of yaks are scattered in the valleys. Herdsmen ride on horses and walk around with pasture, are they afraid that the grass on the ground is not enough for the yaks? I don't know too much haha. In addition to cows and horses, there are many sheep on the hillside. They obviously arrive in the mountains, but they have the illusion of being in the grassland.
sassy and heroic, galloping across the grassland, make us tourists from the mainland envy. In fact, if you want to try it, you can also ride a horse for a fee. We have been walking on this grassy beach for a long time, taking pictures while walking, and the feeling of being in nature is quite leisurely. When
finally walked here, I couldn't make it through. The river was not deep or shallow. Although it was summer, the local temperature was still relatively low, and it was impossible to cross the river barefoot. Seeing that we were at a loss, the passing herdsmen offered to ride their horses. Although it was necessary to pay a certain fee, we had no other choice and were happy to accept it.
After crossing the river and climbing a short section of the hillside, I came to the "Changye Temple" located halfway up the mountain, and then looked back at Yehai Tianchi, which is the best viewing angle. The winding river in the valley is the route we have just walked. The lake in the distance is viewed from this angle. Although it is not large in size, it has a unique charm. The highest peak on the opposite slope of
is called Baishi Mountain. The peak is surrounded by clouds and fog, which is looming and spectacular. The zigzag river and green pastures in the middle of the canyon are beautiful, and the "Changye Temple" is simply a perfect viewing platform. Why is it called "Chang Ye Temple"? It turned out that the temple enshrines Chang Yuchun, the founding general of the Ming Dynasty. According to legend, he once drank horses in this lake during the Western Expedition. The local people regarded it as a protector god and believed in it, so Yehai Tianchi was also called "Changyechi". .
viewing Yehai Tianchi from this angle of view really makes you feel more, although it is not as magnificent as Changbai Mountain Tianchi and Tianshan Tianchi, it has its own beautiful side. This scenic area has chibi valleys, virgin forests, alpine lakes and wide meadows, the scenery is amazing!
