Maintaining the normal operation of the drainage pumping station and pipe network in winter is an important node to ensure that there is no large area of water in the central city during the summer flood season and to ensure the normal life and travel of the people. At present, the No. 7 Drainage Institute is in strict accordance with the procedures to maintain and maintain the drainage equipment of each pumping station in its jurisdiction.
In the past few days, the No. 7 Drainage Institute, which is responsible for the management of the pumping station in the central urban area of Beichen District, is carrying out winter equipment maintenance work, involving drainage equipment such as pumping rooms, gates, hoists and scrapers of pumping stations in the jurisdiction.
It is understood that in the flood season of 2017, although there was no heavy rain in Beichen District, the rainfall was relatively frequent, which also caused the drainage facilities to be aged or damaged to varying degrees. In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment during the 2018 flood season, timely discharge of precipitation in the central city, and create a clean and tidy city environment, the No. 7 Drainage Institute took more than two months to maintain the equipment.
Deputy Director of the Operation Management Department of the Seventh Drainage Management Office of the Municipal Drainage Management Office, said: "Whether it is the dredging of pipelines, the overhaul of pumping stations, the maintenance of equipment, and the cleaning of two quarters a year, these tasks are actually for the future. Drainage can be discharged smoothly in preparation."
At present, the Seven Drainage Institute has completed the equipment maintenance of 18 rainwater pumping stations in the central city. At the same time, a special inspection team for the safe operation of pumping stations has been established, and there are no holidays. The pumping station is monitored and managed for 24 hours.
