From the mouth of the Yellow River to Sun Moon Lake and Chengcheng Lake, the hearts of the people on both sides are connected

In the midsummer of Taiwan, the sun is scorching fire, but it can't resist the enthusiasm and expectation of compatriots on both sides of the strait for cultural exchanges. On August 23, personnel from the fields of publicity, culture and education in Hekou District of Dongying City went to Nantou County and Kaohsiung City, Taiwan to participate in the "Yellow River Mouth·Sun Moon Lake" and "Yellow River Mouth·Clarification Lake" photography joint exhibitions. This is a rare experience among people on both sides of the strait A grand cultural exchange event in China.

On the morning of August 24th, people from both sides of the strait gathered in Sun Moon Lake, Nantou County. The opening ceremony of the photography exhibition was held in a warm atmosphere. Li Mengzhen, Director of Tourism Office of Nantou County, Taiwan, Shen Zhefang, Deputy Director of Taiwan’s Internal Affairs Department, and Shuishalian Art Photography Leaders such as Mr. Liu Xianren, Chairman of the National Association, Huang Gaochao, former Chairman of the CPPCC in Hekou District, attended the opening ceremony. There are a total of 120 works in this exhibition, including 60 works by Taiwanese photographers and 60 works by Hekou photographers. The works show the economic development, urban construction, folk customs, and natural landscapes of the Hekou District. The unique perspectives and rich content attract locals. Thousands of people came to visit.

On August 27th, the "Yellow River Mouth·Chengcheng Lake" photography exhibition opened in Kaohsiung City. Kaohsiung City Councillor Zeng Liyan, Cross-Strait Peace Envoy Zhang Shude, Director Huang Denglong of the Photographers Society, and Huang Gaochao, former chairman of the Hekou District CPPCC attended the opening ceremony. The unique natural scenery and cultural history of the Yellow River Estuary, Sun Moon Lake, Chengcheng Lake and other places provide a broad stage for photography enthusiasts and a platform for photographers and cultural exchanges on both sides of the strait. Through the exchange of folk art, this photography exhibition allowed people on both sides of the strait to deepen mutual understanding, promoted cultural integration, and effectively enhanced the influence and reputation of the Yellow River estuary and the estuary area.
