July 7 is the anniversary of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. A gunshot was fired at Lugou Bridge 80 years ago, announcing the official outbreak of the Chinese nation's full-scale war of resistance. As the only patriotism education base in Shanghai, the Sixing Warehouse Anti-Japanese War Memorial is a national anti-Japanese memorial site.

From October 26 to November 1, 1937, the Sihang Warehouse, where the memorial hall is located, had a battle to defend the Sihang Warehouse. The "eight hundred warriors" who participated in this defense battle withstood the multiple attacks of the Japanese army and protected the National Revolutionary Army from retreating westward. The success of this defense war reinvigorated the morale of the Chinese soldiers and civilians who had fallen due to the setbacks of the Songhu Battle. The

memorial hall consists of six parts: the prologue hall, "Blood Songshu", "Hold on to the Four Elements", "Lone Army Struggle", "Immortal Monument" and the tail hall. The exhibition uses physical objects, sculptures, modern technology and other means to reproduce the battle scenes of the year, and displays the historical facts of the Shanghai people's participation in the whole nation's resistance to war and the fight against foreign aggression through graphic panels and huge paintings, as well as the heroes of the "eight hundred warriors" from all walks of life at home and abroad The praise and remembrance of deeds.
