Bear Coach Weekly Diary 20: The first time (produced by Bear Bear badminton)

We have many firsts in our lives, the first time we speak, the first time we carry a schoolbag, the first time I get full marks, the first time we play badminton...and Coach Xiong Xiong was interviewed for the first time on September 24, 2016.

Lai Fei of Sichuan Labor and Social Security Magazine contacted me on September 22 and said that they were doing surveys on athletes’ lives after retirement. They hoped to interview me, and I readily agreed. The

interview was scheduled for September 24th, during which I was asked the following questions:

1. Looking at the article you wrote, you retired at the age of 19, why did you retired so early? Did the team arrange a way out for you after retiring? Why choose to go to university? When did it happen?

Me: Because I am not tall, I just met the Bayi team and Huaqiao University to reach a friendship. Retired players who are willing to study can be sent to school. This is what our coach Chen Weihua considered very thorough. Now Lin Dan and Chen Long are all linked to Huaqiao University. I felt that I was not tall at the time, and my future development would not be too great, and at that time I felt that I had a special desire for knowledge, so I chose to study. Now it seems that my choice is also correct. That year was 2003.

2. You said that your first job was a police officer. When did that happen? What kind of work did you do later? Are there any impressive details in your work because of your former athlete status? For example, in your article you mentioned the kind that embarrassed the teacher while studying.

Joined the police in 2008. After graduation, I took the civil service examination and entered the public security team. I feel that I am more talented in studying than in playing basketball, and my deep understanding of badminton was only realized after studying. I resigned in 2013 to work in the current investment company. The four years from retirement to school is considered the first baptism, the years of public security work is considered the second baptism, 2013 to now is the third baptism, and it has basically exceeded the quality of life and work ability of many ordinary people. I can't remember the specific details, it's probably because I will argue directly when I disagree with the leaders.

3. Why did you think of opening a badminton website and when did it start? Why do you want to do this? Can you elaborate.

In the past few years I have been teaching football, I have found that more and more golfers have tennis elbow and tenosynovitis. You don't know many of the truths that make sense. I have also seen a lot of coaches' teachings on the Internet, and I think many points can be further clarified so that golfers can fully understand the ins and outs of it. My deeper understanding of badminton was also after I went to college. My power is now more scientific than when I was an athlete, and my skills should be better than when I was an athlete. I can now know why this action is played like this. , It's just that the ability has indeed dropped a lot. Then I recorded my first instructional video "Correct swing motion can prevent tennis elbow and tenosynovitis". After the release, the video was very popular. After watching it, the golfers felt that it was suddenly enlightened and the explanation was easy to understand. Clear in place. At that time, I thought, since I teach students to understand and learn well through video teaching, then I can break through the limitations of time and space and develop an online badminton teaching model. Then I began to conceive of my online badminton teaching model, so on April 25, 2015, I established the "Buzzard Badminton Net".

Later, I found that many golfers around me were injured because of not paying attention to the warm-up before exercise and the relaxation after exercise, so I found coach Gao and Dr. Xian. After I clarified my intentions, I hit it off with them and joined them. Our website is fuller and fuller. Coach

Gao, male, is responsible for the teaching of strength and stretching training for raging badminton. Master of Sports Physiology from Chengdu Sport University, rehabilitation therapist, former team doctor of Shanghai Swimming Team and National Swimming Team; good at physical therapy, exercise therapy and physical training. Chengdu Institute of Physical Education is the only teaching unit that can grant bachelor's and master's degrees in sports in my country. The department has jurisdiction over Chinese medicine and sports human sciences. Among them, the Department of Exercise Physiology under Medicine is a key discipline of the State Sports General Administration. Dr.

4. What kind of work are you doing now? Is badminton teaching your main business or your sideline?

is currently working in an investment company, responsible for legal affairs, because he studied law at university. Badminton teaching is considered a hobby.

5. What is your opinion on the employment of current professional athletes after retirement? Has it improved compared to before?

The current improvement is that every professional team seems to have arranged jobs for retired athletes, but whether they can stay after going to work depends on individual ability. When a few of my teammates first went to work in a state-owned enterprise, the department leader asked them to move their benches and wipe the tables. After they felt that there was no sense of existence, they resigned and worked full-time. Athletes in interactive sports such as badminton and table tennis will have a larger living space. If they can't do anything, they can make a lot of money by teaching ball. Other sports are very difficult, such as track and field, such as diving.

6. How do you think the athlete's career will affect you?

Athlete’s career has given me a lot of wealth, such as persistence, such as being motivated, such as optimism. At the same time, due to the Chinese competitive sports system, athletes have no normal cultural studies in their careers, and they are simple and rude to consider and analyze problems. This retires athletes. Later life brings many obstacles, so many sports stars do not live well after their careers are over, and they are gradually forgotten. Few people can succeed in transformation, survival skills are too single, and there are no other skills after leaving the stadium. I still hope that the future of Chinese competitive sports can return to the education system for development. The athletes are first school students and then athletes. In this way, athletes can better enter the society after the end of their sports career and obtain another development.
