Gao Yunxiang's sexual assault case retrial is going on

Chinese actor Gao Yunxiang and producer Wang Jing in Australia’s suspected sexual assault of a Chinese woman were suspended at the end of the trial after several trials last year. Because the 12 jury members finally disagree, the jury announced its dissolution and postponed it to this year’s On February 24, the reorganization jury continued the trial.

On February 5, the official website of the New South Wales Court published Gao Yunxiang and Wang Jing’s latest hearing information: At 10 am on February 24, the hearing was held at the District Court.

The hearing information of the co-defendant Wang Jing in this case is the same as that of Gao Yunxiang. The time is also at 10 am on February 24, and the court hearing is at the local court.

On the 7th of this month, Gao Yunxiang and Wang Jing also had a pre-trial pretrial for a one-off intrusion case. This is a preparation hearing. The court will inform the parties of the relevant preparations before the next court appearance.

In this case, Gao Yunxiang received a total of 7 accusations including serious indecent association and serious sexual assault. Wang Jing’s accusation was based on Gao Yunxiang’s 7 accusations and 4 additional accusations for a total of 11 accusations. In previous court trials, neither of them pleaded guilty, and argued that the female client had a voluntary relationship with them.

In addition, it was revealed that Gao Yunxiang was sued by a local company called SRSA PTY LTD in Australia. The specific reason has not yet been revealed. It is reported that the court will open on February 18.
