The Long March 12 carrier rocket was developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. The total length of the rocket is about 62 meters, and its take-off mass is about 430 tons. It adopts a two-stage configuration design. The first stage uses four liquid propellants with a thrust of 1,250 kN. Oxygen/kerosene engine, the second stage uses 2 liquid oxygen with a thrust of 180 kN /Kerosene engine, with a carrying capacity of no less than 12 tons in low-Earth orbit and no less than 6 tons in a 700-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. It is China's single-core launch vehicle with the largest carrying capacity at present. It can be adapted to 5.2-meter, The 4.2-meter-diameter fairing supports single-star and multi-star launches in different orbits.
