Huichang Drama Season 002 will open on November 21st, and Hu Defu will sing the first voice. On November 14, director Lai Shengchuan revealed at the drama season press conference that dramatist Robert Wilson will start his residency in Huichang to complete his latest stage work.
On December 2, Robert Wilson will come to the town for actor selection. The new masterpiece will have its world premiere at Huichang Theater Season 003 on May 22, 2025.

Lai Shengchuan's "Through the Looking Glass" tailor-made for Huichang Drama Town will usher in a sealed performance of the garden theater version in Huichang Drama Season 002. The play is performed in the garden theater renovated from the Gannan ancestral hall in the town. The audience will follow the performers from the outdoor space of the garden theater into the theater and enter a life composed of countless choices.

Young actor Yang Yi, who has appeared in "Like a Dream", "Once Upon a Time" and "Treasure Island Village", brings his first work "King of the Plains" which he wrote, directed and starred in. The play is produced by Huichang Drama Town. Yang Yi plays multiple roles and has original lyrics and music. He uses Henan dialect to sing the thoughts and emotions of ordinary people and show the faces of all living beings on the plains.

was initiated by Huichang Drama Town. Co-directors Zhao Yiyang, Jiang Sida and 14 amateur actors from Huichang jointly created and completed a story "66 Hours" exclusive to Huichang. The 80-minute play brings together the life experiences of 14 local Huichang theater lovers.

In addition to a rich variety of drama works, "Quanzhou Puppetry Classic Repertoire Special" and "Gannan Tea Picking Opera Excerpts" present unique intangible cultural heritage skills.
